Forrest Tuff Graduates from the United Way VIP Program

Wednesday, November 16, 2016 - Forrest Tuff along with 19 other professionals graduated from the United Way of Greater Atlanta Volunteer Involvement Program (VIP) Spring Class of 2016. Class participants consisted of legal attorneys, business owners, community leaders, corporate professionals, and nonprofit employees. Each was tasked with working with a nonprofit and raising $500 prior to graduation.
United Way’s VIP is a 10-week training program that develops leadership skills and increases volunteer participation in nonprofit boards across Greater Atlanta. Workshops include fundraising, strategic planning, marketing, and financial and legal decision making.
The selection committee reviews applications and selects no more than 25 individuals per class. The selection criteria is designed to recruit proven leaders who are diverse in their ethnicity, profession, and community service.
