Thursday, December 13, 2018 - Forrest Tuff was the afternoon's keynote speaker and recipient of the SCORE Distinguished Speaker Award and honorary letter from the Office of the Governor. The distinguished awards recognized his excellence and service to the Atlanta and Metro Atlanta business community for his film industry workshop series. The event took place at the Dunwoody Country Club in Sandy Springs, GA from 11:15-1:30 pm.
In 2018, Forrest Tuff received a $10,000 grant from SCORE to create three workshops targeting business owners and creative professionals looking for work in Georgia’s multi-billion-dollar film industry. During each workshop, Forrest delivered a 40-minute keynote and brought in various film and television industry professionals for breakout sessions and panel discussions. The well-attended workshops were considered the most successful in SCORE history.
As the CEO of One Vision Productions, a professional speaker, and SCORE mentor, Tuff saw a unique opportunity to utilize his varied expertise to provide a much needed and sought-after service for small businesses. “It is a pleasure to work with such an amazing organization and people, says Tuff."
SCORE Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration. The organization offers pro bono mentoring and low-cost workshops to small business owners.
