December 13, 2018 - It was a day to remember for Forrest Tuff during Score North Metro Atlanta's Annual Awards Banquet. He was the afternoon's keynote speaker and recipient of an honorary letter from the Office of the Governor, and SCORE Distinguished Service Award. The letter and award were for his excellence as a keynote speaker and service to the business community in Atlanta and Metro Atlanta. The distinguished event took place at the Dunwoody Country Club - 1600 Dunwoody Club Drive, Sandy Springs, GA 30350 11:15-1:30 pm.

Forrest Tuff is dedicated to helping others and giving back to the business community. In 2015, he became a SCORE certified business mentor, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration. The organization offers pro bono mentoring and low-cost workshops to small business owners. He felt his decade-long experience as a business owner could be valuable and completed a 90-day orientation to become a volunteer.

Along with being a mentor, Tuff also conducts business startup workshops. In 2018, he was awarded a $10,000 grant from SCORE to host a series of workshops targeting business owners and creative professionals looking for work in Georgia’s multi-billion-dollar film industry. The well-attended workshops were considered the most successful in SCORE history. Forrest was featured in their national Volunteer Spotlight and received  a Letter of Commendation from the Georgia Office of the Governor.

“It is a pleasure to give back to the business community with such an amazing organization and people, says Tuff, I hope to continue making an impact with SCORE in the future."
